Membership
Membership is open to any male Christian motorcyclist, full membership however is open only to those with bikes greater than 650cc in capacity. The reason for this is on a run, the smaller bikes (although some are quite quick) will find it rather difficult to stay within the group and those who fall back can often cause a timed run to go over, thereby throwing the whole schedule out. Prospective members who own a bike of a lesser capacity, may hang around but won’t be considered until they upgrade to the minimum capacity.

Why male only? A lot of members come from somewhat harsh (violence, drugs, alcohol) backgrounds and although born again Christians they still see the club as a male only domain, hence the male only rule.
Females (who ride) may become associates – giving them the right to wear a small patch that has Associate on the front of their jacket. Their position in a rally or run will be at the rear of the pack, they will not have any voting rights but they can if the need arises, bring to mention any concerns at informal gatherings which are then raised by the commitee at the next meeting.
As for Wives and Girlfriends, they may wear any of the “Apoye a su Local de Oro y Marrón” supporter shirts that are available from the Online Store.

As a member you will be required to follow all rules as set down by the club and of course by our Lord. Just because you are capable of handling yourself in a fist fight means nothing to us, it’s how you handle yourself when Jesus calls that matters. So if you only think you’re a ‘born again’ and your attitude shows as such your probationary period will be as long and as arduous as the road to Jesus can seem at times.

Just saying that ‘I Believe’ or wearing a T-Shirt that has a snappy religious slogan and or picture means nothing to us as a club – proof in action is the only way. Testimonials, Church attendance, seeking the Lord and showing/helping others how to find him will gain you more respect than your ability to beat someone’s brains in.

It’s a long hard journey but the rewards are Heaven sent.

What We Do?
You will find the Compadres CMC doing mostly community based activities, for example the Adelaide chapter and its street kids program, both Sydney and Melbourne concentrate on the elderly members of the community along with all chapters supporting those men that are suffering from some form of mental or physical illness.
If your idea of a good day out doesn’t include chatting to someone who is less fortunate or suffering from a mental or physical ailment that (seemingly) alienates them from society then the Compadres CMC probably won’t be for you. The Compadres CMC will also not suit you if you are unable to continually extend the hand of friendship to those who prefer to ridicule you for who you are (a member of the Compadres CMC) and what you are (a Christian Bikie).
Bible study is also an integral part of club life and all members are required to carry this out.
