Blessings of this the most Holy of Seasons
As we sit back with our roast dinners, barbies and cold ale, please take a moment to reflect on this the most Holy of seasons. Our Lord Jesus Christ was on born and with that birth came the knowledge that we too, through Him and only Him can we reach, everlasting life.
Many walk amongst us, rich in life but poor in in soul. Many walk amongst us, rich in soul but poor in life. If you can spare a morsel from your plate then feed them – if you can’t then offer them something to quench their thirst. The smallest thing that you do for someone less priveleged than you can open more doors for them than you realise.
May His word hold you and comfort you through this the most Holy of seasons.
Regards, Respect & Blessings

Hospital Visits
Shorty and Jay took some time out to visit John, a friend of the Compadres CMC in hospital after hearing he was there for an op on his foot brought about by diabetes and although not a member or even an associate, the fella’s thought it was just a nice thing to do (as do we all).
They spent quality time with him, a good Christian man who was struggling at this point in time. Not so much struggling with religion but the cards that life deals us all, and their visit in my humble opinion not only lifted his spirits but Shorty’s and Jay’s also. They took him in a copy of ‘The New Testament – For Our Christian Biker Brothers” and he barely let it go, the most touching moment(?) was the impromptu prayer from Shorty.
To John I would like to say (from the Compadres CMC) “The LORD sustains them on their sickbed and restores them from their bed of illness” (Psalm 41:3).
Hold strong your faith as His words are not hollow words.
Heard Through Out The Land
A young lad said to his father one day, “dad everyone say’s their bike is the best etc, but yours is the only one in the bible.”
His father replied. “How so mate?”
He said “it says in the bible that David’s Triumph could be heard through out the land.”
‘scuse the joke, but I think we all need a good laugh now and again.
Why? It’s a perfectly good plane!
If you’re not doing much of anything on December 17, head to Penrith Regatta Centre at around 12pm to watch numerous people jump from a perfectly good plane – including Compadres Sydney chapter member ‘Shorty’ and Shaun (an associate). They’re looking for sponsors so if anyone would like to chip in, please contact the Sydney chapter either via email or phone as all monies raised will be going to ‘Christ Mission Possible’ to extend their feeding the needy program.
More details will be made available as the day draws closer.

Novembers Cook Up
Surprisingly, there seemed to be a few more people in attendance at the St James monthly Hot Dinner Wednesday, is that a sign of the financial times?
Dave from the Rat’s Cafe turned up on his Bonneville (a wash wouldn’t go astray Churchy – the bonnie not you) but was good to see you up there. Jay was again in the thick of it, as members go he never stops.
Below are a few pictures that got taken on the night, but before I go don’t forget that Shorty is going to sky dive to raise much needed funds for ‘Christ Mission Possible’ it’s going to be a jump at Picton, you can’t miss it – just look for the parachutes
